NOW IN ENGLISH. THE ADVANTAGES OF BEING BILINGUAL

Bilingual children are more creative than others and they develop better their skills when they have to solve problems.

Even some studies suggest that speak a second language, although if it’s only possible for the first years of live, it helps children’s brain circuits to be easier for the children to learn more languages in the future.    

If parents and children don’t speak the same language at home, the communication between then will be weaken.

There are some methods to help the children to be bilingual; in all of them it’s very important that the children have to be expose to both languages in different contexts and they have to understand the importance of know both.

It’s recommended 2 perspectives:

-         One father, one language: each father has to speak one different language at home since the child has born.

-         Minority language at home: parents establish one language at home and the other at school.

It doesn’t mind the perspective that parents use, it’s only important that parents don’t mix both languages when they speak to the children. And when the children commit a mistake, parents have to correct them in the language they are using in this moment.

Sometimes bilingual children have problems in the development of the speech.
